The Hardware Lab — Arduino missions
Hands-on Arduino Nano 33 BLE missions from the Electronics Explorer and Robotics Builder learning paths.
Hardware: Arduino Nano 33 BLE (or BLE Sense). Library: ArduinoBLE. Live labs require Chrome, Edge, or Opera on desktop.
Missions
- RGB LED Controller — Toggle the red, green, and blue channels of the onboard RGB LED independently from your browser.
- LED Dimmer — Fade the onboard LED in real time with a brightness slider — your first write-with-payload characteristic.
- Tilt & Motion Dashboard — Stream the onboard accelerometer to the browser and watch a live dashboard react as you tilt the board.
- Push-Button Notifier — Wire up a push button and watch the web page react the instant you press it — the physical world notifying the browser.
- 3D Motion Cube — A Three.js cube mirrors your board's orientation in real time — tilt or rotate the Arduino and the cube follows.
- Tilt Catch — Play a browser catch game steered by tilting the board — no buttons. The onboard RGB LED flashes as light feedback for catches, misses, and game over.
- Tilt Tunnel — Steer a ship through a scrolling tunnel by tilting the board — no buttons. Onboard LEDs flash green on clean passes, amber on scrapes, and strobe on crashes.
- Space Gun — Shoot descending enemies by tilting the board — left/right to steer, forward for more fire, back for less. Onboard LEDs show your fire rate and pulse on hits.
- Tilt Bounce — Play a Mario Tennis–style singles match: hold the Nano face-up like a racket, flip to swing, and rally against a CPU on a court. Time your swings for Nice / Great / Perfect — the onboard RGB LED flashes with every point.
